Golden Days: A Look Back at the 2024 EGRC Specialty

The 2024 Evergreen Golden Retriever Club (EGRC) Specialty was a paw-sitively fantastic success, with a record number of entries and enthusiastic participation from breeders, exhibitors, and spectators. The show featured a variety of events, including conformation, obedience, and rally trials, providing a platform for Golden Retrievers to showcase their talents and compete for prestigious titles.

A special thank you goes out to Shari Phillips, who served as the show chair for the past two years. Shari's dedication, hard work, and passion for the Golden Retriever breed made the 2024 Specialty a memorable and golden event. Her leadership and guidance ensured a smooth-running show that exceeded expectations. In addition to her role as show chair, Shari was helped in developing new features for this year's specialty.

These features included the addition of a FETCH event, the use of a

credit card reader for easy payment, and the purchase of new electrical cords to improve the grooming setup. These innovations contributed to a more enjoyable and efficient experience for all involved. Her dedication to the Golden Retriever breed is truly inspiring, and we are grateful for her contributions to the club and the success of the 2024 Specialty.
